Good morning,
We have made 445 cream felt spheres so far - well these are the ones that have taken over my studio :) I know that there are many more around the world being created. Textile Fibre Forum (Aus Magazine), Embellishment (Aus Magazine) and Creative Fibres (NZ Magazine) are all supporting this body of work as well by spreading the word via their web sites and when possible in their printed magazines. I have also been sending out calls for participation from Fibre based guilds / groups from around the world, so it will be interesting to see how many cream felt spheres we have by July ready to be installed in August 2010.

The next session at the QVMAG (Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery) learning centre is the 1st of May at 10.30 till 3pm. Hope you can make it, and remember it is open to all, so bring your friends and make a day of it chatting catching up and creating.

I am also going to Ellen-dale on the 20th of April to hold a formal work shop.

Thank you so much for your support with this project.

Remember that you can send the finished cream felt spheres to be included in the exhibition to:
PO Box 345 Launceston. Tasmania 7250.

or contact me to discuss other means of transporting them to be included in the exhibition.
